Kaileb and I got into a heated discussion about religion. It happens, though I try to avoid it. Not because I don’t want to discuss religion with my child, but because my child likes to drive me crazy with deep, philosophical discussions with serious moral implications that make me tired and then I sit there and fantasize about the good old days when he used to want to talk about how come the black power ranger was more betterer than the red power ranger.

We passed a billboard on a church that said, “When your down to nothing, Gods up to something.” Before I could stop myself I growled and complained loudly about the poor spelling and grammar. As soon as I did it I regretted it because that of course fed right into the evil demon-child’s scheme. We had been arguing about what religion I should call myself. I told him I defied any religion. He disagreed. As soon as I complained about the sign however the little shit says, “AH-HA! You’re from the church of Grammarism, since you worship good grammar so much and you think it’s a sin to use baad grammar!”
