I’ve got a bit of a girl crush on Zooey Deschanel. She’s cute as a bug’s ear and has an amazing singing voice. She’s teamed up with the lovely M. Ward to form a group called She & Him and I just bought Volumes 1 and 2 because they’re awesome and they rock my face off.
She’s got a Patsy Cline quality to her voice that just freakin’ amazes me, coming out of that tiny little thing. Take a listen, then buy her albums. Somebody has to support these guys who don’t rely heavily on auto-tune, but actual talent instead.
